DESCRIPTION:

An idyllic hideaway. Lovingly
restored, this charming stone-built cottage is perfect for relaxing
holidays in a tranquil setting, with beautiful views of the Troodos
mountain range.
The Cottage is suitable for young people, two couples, or a family
with older children (4 - 5 people).
The large swimming pool (5m x 10m) was created by a mosaic artist and
it features two exquisite dolphin mosaics, as well as a
fascinating "compass" design. Must be seen (best of all
underwater) to be appreciated! The depth of the pool ranges from 1.5 -
2.2m (4 feet 10" - 6 feet 6"), therefore it is not suitable
for young children or non-swimmers. |

Two loft bedrooms with twin beds
in each, both with full air-conditioning. The original farmhouse had
only one floor, but during the restoration the owners converted the
loft into two charming bedrooms with dormer windows and wooden beams.
Due to space restrictions, the sloping roof of the bedrooms is only
1.7m (5
feet 7 inches), so you need to watch your head if taller. The
matresses are on low beds, 20cms off the ground. Access to the
bedrooms is from a built-in (pull-down) ladder from the ground floor.
For these reasons we do not recommend the Cottage for the elderly
or less agile!
Simply furnished, the small but cosy bedrooms have no wardrobes,
however there is large wardrobe on the ground floor. |
| FACILITIES: |
2 bedrooms, kitchen, living /
dining room, bathroom, private pool, an extensive veranda, gardens
and a garage.
The living room features a granite fireplace . It has a comfortable
seating area, with a double sofa bed, which can sleep 1-2 extra
persons, as well as a TV, CD & Video Player plus ceiling fans.
The dining area in the same room has a pine dresser and a dining table
and chairs for 6 people.
The small kitchen has granite worktops, a gas cooker / oven, microwave,
washing machine and all standard kitchen equipment.
The mosaic-tiled bathroom is located next to the kitchen, and has a
bath with shower attachment.
The spacious covered veranda is perfect for outdoor dining in
summertime, barbeques, or dozing in the hammock!
The house has full central-heating and a washing machine. It also has many special and
unusual features including a mosaic swimming-pool (5 x 10m), stone
exterior walls, a traditional Cypriot windmill for pumping water, a
traditional Cypriot outdoor clay oven, and the use of a 4-wheel drive
car provided to guests free of charge.
