Dear Sirs !
From 25.9.-4.10.99 I had the
pleasure to visit your wonderful Island.
I rented a beautiful old
house in Vavla called SPITI PAPADOPOULOU. What a great treat ! The
house was even far better as described in the webpage.( extremely
unusual in our times to sell nothing for a fortune )
The owners of the house are
delightful people. The welcome to the house was some glasses of
wine and a straight forward introduction how everything works in the
house.
Besides the valuable tips on
what to do ,what to see and where to eat where just perfect. The
ultimate surprise was still to come. On opening the refrigerator
after my hosts had left
I found all groceries to get
me started next day. this is a service unheard of anywhere else on
this planet.
Since I am a dedicated
golfer I had planed to spend my November annual golfbreak in
Southafrica. Now I will go instead to Cyprus again . My "golf buddies"
where so impressed about my report about Cyprus that they at once
agreed to change destination. Even you have only 3 golf courses on the
island ,which is a shame since Cyprus
would be the most perfect
golf destination in winter for the central European golf crowd.
Needless to say that I
surfed your WINDOWSONCYPRUS again and that I found the right place .
I am looking forward to my
golf holiday and I want to thank you again.

Hello Jayne
Just a quick note to say thank you very much for sorting the Grekko
villa,
Protaras for our holiday. The villa was great and the location was
perfect
for us. Green bay was just ideal for small children. Daniel who is 4
did his
first unaided swim, which was great. It may be worth noting for
families
with children unable to swim that the pool is deep and close (1metre)
to the
house (we were unable to open any downstairs doors). But we went
out every
day so was not a problem .
Thank Ali for meeting us and Tassoula for sorting the linen etc.
Also the aircon unit in the back bedroom leaked, so we moved the beds
to the front bedroom for the children, hope this did not cause a
problem?

when removing the tyre- had to drive on three nuts/bolts.

Vouni- said hi from you. Only Ł20 a night Saw the Mouflong
Forgot to say Palati was wonderful- and we also spent a morning on
a glass
bottomed boat from Latchi

Hi Jayne,
We made it home all in one piece and am now in recovering stage...wake
up
at 4:00 a.m. until we revert to our time zone.
Trip home...a long way but broken up by a couple of nights in
London...we rented a car for one day and drove down to Brighton to see
friends. Traffic problem terrible.
Roundabouts no longer go round, too crowded to even get into them!
Flight from LHR to LAX was fantastic! Did we ever luck out.
The Air
New Zealand 747 had only 114 coach passengers so we each got a row of
4
seats to spread out in and really be able to get some
sleep.....wonderful!
Now we are busy catching up and preparing for our summer escape in our
RV, don't know if it is hotter here or as it was the day we departed
from Larnaca, yesterday was 99 and just getting hotter as the days go
by.

Sorry about the confusion. It was actually
caused because I didn't read the instructions clearly enough until it
was too late, and no-one at Palati reminded us about cash payment
after we arrived. I remembered filling out both of the credit
card authorizations, and then simply forgot to check the details that
you sent. My apologies once more. Please go ahead and use the credit
card authorization that you have.
Oh and by the way we had a wonderful holiday. Palati was good. The
people were nice, and Cyprus in general was great. We look forward to
recommending your service to our friends.

Thanks for all the work everyone did at the office - we had a
lovely holiday.
The flat was very nice, clean and near the beach, we had thought it
would be in a bigger block so the children were disappointed not to
meet anyone their own ages. The flat was lovely and spacious, and had
plenty of cupboard space and was much more comfortable once the air
conditioner was sorted -thanks for sorting that.
Only thing we would add is that the Hotel owner seemed surprised at
our request to use his pool and said it would be ok as the hotel was
quite quiet. The other thing we missed was not having a safe in the
apartment - I know Cyprus is low on crime but its reassuring to know
that your tickets and passports are locked up.
Thanks once again - we will keep your company in mind if we come to
Cyprus again.

Many thanks for organising our recent holiday under
the above reference.
The transport arrangements for both parties was
excellent and very prompt on
the go and return journeys. We were
particularly pleased to see the driver on our
arrival because, although the flight was on time, the
off-loading of luggage was delayed
and it seemed an eternity before we got out of the
airport. It was so pleasing to see my
name on a board - it gave me a lot of confidence for
the rest of the stay.
The villa was an absolute dream, although a little
dated as you mention on the website. However,
it offered everything we had ever hoped for,
including the privacy, even for a group of seven staying
there. Our Greek Cypriot neighbour, Lukia, with
whom we became quite attached was a lovely lady
and we'll make every endeavour to see her again when
we return.
Tasoulla too, who we met on the Monday, was
a lovely lady and please pass on our thanks to her.
You may be interested to note that when we left on
Sunday 19th, the 'cleaners' arrived while my sister
was waiting for her transport. They told her that
they had never seen the villa left so clean after visitors.
They said there was nothing to do.
We enjoyed our stay, and were very sad to leave, such
is the hospitality of the Cypriots we already know
and those we made new friends of. My wife and I are
planning to return in November for a week to see some
friends we never got to meet. So we'll be back.
And I must tell you this story, if you have time to
read it.
A week ago I was waiting for a chance to do some
paracending in Sandy Bay, just up the road from our villa.
I had already befriended the owner, Dhoros and his
son Louis, a couple of days earlier when my wife did a
paracending trip. I was sat with Dhoros waiting
for his son to return with the boat and we were just chatting
in Greek and English and having a laugh.
Unknown to me there was a Norwegian guy just behind and to the
right of me filming Dhoros just after the Norwegian
had paid for his jetski trip. Dhoros was closing the drawer
to his desk and asked the Norwegian what he was
doing. I looked around and saw him and he said he was
filming Dhoros place his (the Norwegian's) wallet in
the drawer for safe-keeping while jetskiing. He had asked
Dhoros to look after it. He wanted the film as
evidence in case the wallet was taken. Dhoros was visibly
shaken
at the slight, and I turned back to the Norwegian and
said "You don't need to do that!. He's a Cypriot".
My sister
who was sat alongside me said "Well done,
Geoff".
Dhoros said in Greek to me, "Thank you, my
friend".
Says it all, doesn't it?
Anyway, thanks once again for everything. Your
organisation was superb.

Subject: Recent stay at The Nest
Dear Pippa,
This is rather belated as we arrived
back from Cyprus nearly two weeks ago now, but I just wanted to say
how impressed we were with The Nest. It couldn't have looked
more like the online pictures - it was quite uncanny walking in and
seeing it after all the time we had spent staring at the photos on
the computer! It was comfortable, well equipped, beautifully
maintained and I cannot imagine anywhere nicer to stay in Cyprus -
certainly we saw nowhere comparable for a couple despite driving
extensively around the whole island. Also, as you assured us
Andy was indeed a superb host - leaves you to it when you want, but
always ready to help if you want any advice or info., and was also
kind enough to invite us out over Christmas.
The only thing left to say is that this
was in mid-winter too, when we couldn't really appreciate the pool
or the lovely garden, I can only imagine how wonderful it must be
from Spring through to Autumn!
In addition, the online booking process
was completely hassle free and couldn't have been easier, so thank
you very much!

Dear Pippa,
I wanted to tell you how much we
enjoyed our recent visit to Cyprus and especially our lodgings which
we reserved from you. Nasso's house was especially lovely and
comfortable. She has a wonderful sense of style and we wish her great
success with her other renovation projects. We also appreciated the
apricot tree with perfectly ripe fruit and her advice about
restaurants and kebabs.
The Karythia Cottage was also just
right for us. It was well situated away from the confusion of Paphos,
but close enough for a visit there and was a perfect base for
exploring the Akamas
Peninsula. And after our daily
excursions we had the swimming pool to enjoy. My only suggestion here
is that the directions for finding the house were difficult to
decipher, and if we had not had my daughter's telephone to speak with
Thomas we might never have found it on our own (...though I am sure
that if we had asked any local person they might have been able to
point us in the right direction).

Dear Pippa,
Just a quick note to let you know that we have recently returned
from Cyprus and that we really enjoyed our stay in Stratos House.
Kalavasos was very nice too. Shame about the road
works though.
If our own place is not ready next year then we would have no
hesitation in coming back. thanks again for everything

We returned back from Cyprus yesterday and had just a great wonderful time. This house was
magnificent and everything was available in that house, we both really loved it. I want to Thank YOU and MARIA for all the great work and we are planning to hopefully visit Cyprus again during the month of May and for sure we will hopefully plan to stay in Naturella house again because it our stay this time was just wonderful . M
had everything ready for us and I can't thank you enough for all the great work you put in arranging for this.

Just to let you know, we had a fantastic holiday. All went like
clockwork.
Cyprus was everything we had hoped for.
Palati was a delight, the people great, golf and diving super..and I
drove 1700 km in a soft top jeep..with the top off all the time.great
fun..and a great little machine.
We'll be in touch
for next year. The mountain air was gorgeous.

We are back after having an amazing just WONDERFUL holiday vacation.
We loved the Nest and it was everything we just have imagined it to be.
A was a wonderful owner and we were very glad to see him in person.
Allow us to thank you for the wonderful work you did in making our
trip just another amazing holiday in a country that we both feel so
attached to.
By the way, you might be able to assist me with some information
about how and what are the procedures if someone wants to get a
permanent Residence in Cyprus. I hold an ******** passport
and I would like to seek the best possible ways in
case I planned to live in Cyprus, how does it work if I could
work there? Any information you could provide will surely be very
helpful.
I am sure we will continue using your services for our future trips.
